Privacy
At ASPACE, we prioritize data privacy and security. Our technology is designed to minimize the processing of personal data without compromising measurement accuracy, supporting alignment with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and strong standards of transparency and user protection. This document outlines how our products and services align with GDPR requirements, using our technology to help revolutionize
outdoor advertising while safeguarding personal data.
GDPR-ALIGNMENT
Our core technology is built to measure advertising visibility while minimizing the processing of personal data. We achieve this through the following key principles:
Anonymized data processing – Unlike traditional tracking systems that gather and store personal information, our technology ensures that all data is anonymized from the moment it is captured. Using our technology means that personal-data processing is kept to a minimum. Visual input is processed briefly on the device and converted into anonymous aggregate statistics. No images, video, or personally identifiable information are stored or transmitted off the device. We analyze general trends, such as how many people have seen an advertisement and for how long, without knowing who those individuals are. This means that no personal data is stored or processed in a way that could identify someone.
No Biometric or Facial Recognition – Some companies use facial recognition or biometric data to measure audience engagement, which raises serious privacy concerns. ASPACE avoids these practices entirely. Our technology focuses solely on aggregated, depersonalized data about advertising performance, supporting GDPR alignment while still delivering valuable, privacy-respecting insights to advertisers.
Real-time data processing – Visual input is anonymized and aggregated on the device in real time, so no images, video, or personally identifiable information are stored.
Encrypted data handling – Our encryption methods align with industry best practices to provide an additional layer of security.
TECHNICAL MEASURES
To support GDPR alignment, ASPACE has implemented multiple layers of security and privacy protection that minimize personal-data processing.
Privacy by design – Our technology has been developed from the ground up with privacy in mind. Unlike some companies that attempt to add privacy protections later, we built our system to be GDPR-aligned from the start. This means that every feature, from data capture to analytics, is designed to respect user privacy.
Transparency and user control – We believe that privacy and transparency go hand in hand. Clients using our technology have full visibility into what data is collected and how it is processed. Furthermore, they can request specific reports to ensure that their advertising campaigns adhere to the highest technical data protection standards.
Regular compliance audits – To ensure that we stay up to date with the latest technical privacy regulations, we conduct periodic internal audits. These reviews help us identify any potential risks and adjust our practices accordingly. Our goal is not just to align with the GDPR today but to continuously strengthen data protection and privacy.
